home: creating a space that fuels creativity.

image 2.jpg

I recently learned about EP which stands for Environmental Psychology a.k.a the psychology of space.

___ a branch of science that explores the influence of our physical surroundings on how we think feel and act.

Being someone who gets paid to write, and produce content, my environment needs to be one that is conducive to creativity.

If you’re the same, here are three ways you can create a space that fuels creativity.

Wall colors

  1. Colors are known to increase creativity. My home is mostly painted in light grey. Find colors that inspire you to create and get to painting.

Natural Light

2. Sunlight has the ability to improve your focus. And when you’re focused, creativity soars.

Greenery.

3. A friend of mine who recently moved to California gave me a few of the plants she couldn't take with her. - according to a research study conducted by Texas A&M University, plants can boost creativity by 15% or more within the workplace.

Go ahead and get yourself a few plants friend.

Creatively yours,

Charlotte
