They say time flies when you’re having fun and as I begin my 39th year in life, I can’t help but be thankful for every lesson learned within the last year.
Every year I like to write and share a few of them on the blog in hopes to encourage others.
This year the lessons learned ranged from - Don’t leave Micah ( my 4 year old) alone in a room with a marker, to No is a full sentence
So here I am, 39 years in and I can say with bold confidence that this year will be the beginning of great things.
What have I learned?
Below are some of my biggest lessons.
I am responsible for creating the life I want by the choices I make.
Chase nothing and no one.
I have the right to remove myself from situations that are not fruitful without a need to explain.
No answer is a whole answer. This was an entire lesson.
Write and plan everything, because If I don’t I will forget.
Watch my words, because words are seeds.
No one can stop me but me.
God’s promises are real and they will come to pass.
As I ring in my personal new year, I’m doing something a little different, I chose a scripture which I know will be a reflection of what year 39 will be for me.
“I will give you every place where you set your foot as I promised Moses”. -Joshua 1:3
Thirty-nine…. The best is yet to come!
