A TALE OF TWO CITIES

In a recent conversation with my husband I shared that 2022 felt like an excerpt from Charles Dickens’ book: A Tale of Two Cities.

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity…”

2022 has been incredible in many ways, I was presented with opportunities to lead creative projects, traveled with my family, made new friends, and celebrated year 42 in my favorite city ( NEW YORK) - I love that place.

I also wrote a whole devotional for SHE READS TRUTH, which was mind blowing… more on that soon.

Amidst all the beautiful opportunities, 2022 demanded a new version of me, because baby… old keys don’t open new doors.

And that’s where wisdom came in. Coming to the realization that in order for anyone (myself included) to execute in the capacity to which God has called us, change is a prerequisite.

Change can also be uncomfortable!!! So I wanted to share three things I learned this year in hopes to encourage you to become all that God has made you to be!

Let’s go!

  1. Mindset, mindset, mindset. The way you think and the things you say will absolutely shape your life.Watch your words, watch your thoughts.

  2. Change is inevitable, but growth… growth is optional. Different seasons of your life will require a different you. Be willing to grow.

  3. Last but certainly not least, last month ( November 2022) I took one of Aaja’s ( fruit bearing) Corinne’s Masterclass. During the class she said something that literally changed the game for me which I will leave with you:

“ Character is developed through the process”

Here’s to trusting the “character developing” process.

Creatively yours,

Charlotte
